Data processed, purposes and legal bases of the processing

Data generated by access to the site 

Computer systems and software procedures responsible for the operation of this site acquire, during their normal operation, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This data (such as domain names, IP addresses, operating system used, type of browser device used for connection) is not accompanied by any additional personal information and is used to: i) obtain anonymous statistical information about the use of the site; ii) manage needs to control the methods of use of the same, iii) ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes. The legal basis that legitimizes the processing of such data is the need to make the features of the site usable as a result of the user’s access.

Data voluntarily provided by the user

The personal data provided by the user through forms are collected and processed for the following purposes:

  • for the performance of the relationship activities with the customer
  • for administrative purposes and for the fulfilment of legal obligations such as those of an accounting, tax nature, or to carry out requests from the judicial authority;

How to treat

Data voluntarily provided by the user

The processing of data will take place in both automated and manual ways, and in compliance with the confidentiality and security rules provided for by law. The collection of this information takes place only through the forms on the site. The data will be processed only by the data controllers and data controllers appointed by Smart Capital  as data controller. No other personal user data is acquired from SmartCapital sites. No personal data of users will be given to third parties in any way.

Navigation data

Some personal data is implicitly collected with the use of Internet communication protocols during normal browsing. This category includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers that users use to connect, the method used to submit requests to the server, and other parameters related to the user’s operating system and computer system. The SmartCapital Site sometimes uses – always anonymously – information related to the pages visited to propose, later, advertisements corresponding to the products and services to which interest has been shown. This type of advertising is based on “behavioural retargeting” and works thanks to cookies that are deposited in the computer of navigators. These cookies monitor the pages visited to offer advertisements related to them on other sites.

The information thus collected is in no way attributable to the user’s identity and is not shared with the sites where the ad appears.

This information is also managed by third parties only for the purposes indicated above. Such third parties may be: Google Inc., DoubleClick Inc., which make available their advertising platforms and their network of publisher sites in order to show ads to affected users.

Provision of data and consent of the data subject

Apart from what is seen for navigation data, the provision of data is optional and any refusal does not entail any consequences for browsing the website. In any event, in a simple and easy way, under the provisions of Art. 130, paragraph 4 of the Code, you may object to the sending of the newsletter or the processing of data at a later date.

The data subject to whom the personal data refer has the right at any time to obtain confirmation of the existence or not of the same data and to know its content and origin, verify its accuracy or request its integration or updating, rectification or deletion as reported in art. 7 Legislative Decree no. 196/03, writing directly to the Data Controller, by post or in electronic form at the address amministrazione@smart-capital.it. In a simple and simple way, in accordance with the provisions of Art. 130, paragraph 4 of the Code, you can oppose sending the newsletter at any time.

Art. 7 (Right of access to personal data and other rights)

The person concerned has the right to obtain an indication:

(a) the origin of personal data;
